1.POLIGNANO

Polignano is absolutely a treasure of Puglia. The small town fascinates everyone for its unique style, it is an oasis of beauty overhanging the sea.

To get around, tourists like to walk or to rent a boat to explore hidden coves and enjoy all the coast. From the charming old town to the different panoramic spots, you can admire the fantastic combination of sea, stone and crystal water.

2.ALBEROBELLO

Alberobello brings you to a dreamy place, where fairies and gnomes seem to exist. The characteristic “Trulli cones”, apulian dry stone huts, were declared a UNESCO heritage site and they can be considered a gift from Puglia to every person that come to visit them.

It is possible to see them around different places in Puglia, but Alberobello is the only town composed completely of Trulli. The typical cone-shaped roof is covered with grey stone tiles that become gold during the stunning sunsets. Visitors also love to try the experience to sleep in these unique houses.

3.BARI

Bari is the capital of Puglia where the feeling of apulian culture and traditions makes special every corner of this city.
”Bari Vecchia”, which is the old town, is the place where you can learn how to make orecchiette and after you can eat them . For istance the “cosy ladies teachers” of homemade orecchiette are along the streets of the city with the aim to make your holiday more enjoyable and authentic, as well as colored flowers on the balconies and laundry hanging outside the windows.

You can relax while strolling along the waterfront and enjoy local seafood specialities everywhere.

4.OSTUNI

Ostuni, “The white city” of Puglia, is located in the heart of Valle D’Itria on a hilltop.
Losing yourself in the labyrinth of this city will make you feel a real tourist, even if you are local. The small streets are full of good restaurants, little shops and apulian ceramics (Pomi) that look amazing on the white walls. Actually these ceramics are typical of Martina Franca that is 30 minutes from Ostuni. Around Valle d’Itria you can also enjoy the beautiful experience of wine and oil degustation, that will allow you to walk in the middle of the finest vineyards and olive groves.

5.SALENTO PENINSULA

This peninsula is located on the hill of Italy’s boot. The whole coast is full of beaches that will amaze you for their clear water. Salento is the ideal match of beauty and history, from the roman ruins to the greek remnants. Not far from Otranto ( a city that you must visit), Sant’Andrea is one of the best beaches to visit for its Faraglioni. The stunning landscape consists of white rocks rising from the water, the most famous Faraglione is the “Arc of lovers” where couples, according to a legend, have to kiss under it.

This is a magnificent artwork of nature, as well as “La Grotta della Poesia” which is another gem of Puglia, that is perfect for those who love to dive into the deep sea. You can also enjoy the beauty of Santa maria di Leuca, or Gallipoli if you are looking for nightlife.
