IL CAIRO – The workshop “Women Leadership” ended in Cairo last Friday 19th November 2021. The workshop was promoted by “United Towns Agency (UTA)” for the North-South cooperation of the States chaired by the President Ghazi Matta and the General Secretary Eya Essif and by the President of the “Committee for the Development and the international cooperation of the North – South States” Rossana Rodà. Mrs Rodà is also the President of the organisation ASIGITALIA and of the “Italian Centre of Professional Training in Tunis” CIFOP. Mr Moataz Salah El-Din, President of the Arab Women’s Media Network organised the ceremony of delivering of the professional training certificates in Cairo – Hilton Ramses Hotel – on the 19th of November, with the cooperation of Italian Centre of Professional Training in Tunis” CIFOP. The certificates deal with different specialisation sectors.

CIFOP is part of the organisation ASIGITALIA, whose President Mrs Rodà went personally to Cairo for the delivering of the above-mentioned certificates in order to sharing the satisfaction with the participating women to the training courses. The following Arab delegations were present during this important event: Yemen Republic, Egyptian Arab Republic, State of Libya, Syria Republic, Sudan, Reign of Saudi Arabia, Reign Hascemita of Giordania. Many people attended this ceremony, young men, women, coming from several regions of Egypt, local and international stakeholders. The training paths were carried on in different sectors: design, biology, arts, turism, and other disciplines…the professional training was carried out by CIFOP, accredited by the Tunisian Minister of Training. CIFOP trains people in compliance with European methodologies with European trainers, providing with the double certifications, which allow the participants to carry on their jobs both in their own country than in European ones.

UTA Agency, in compliance with the mandate of President Matta and the General Secretary Essif supported the whole developed activity cooperating with Northern and Southern states. The speech of dr. Hala Sukkar, expert of human sciences was very important in order to underline the relation between human science and human development and training. The expert highlighted how the development of mental capabilities through the training brings to the achievement of own life objectives. Mrs Rossana Rodà, President of the Technical Committee for the cooperation and development of North-South States- UTA Agency and President of CIFOP declared during the conference: “….This project was a “pilot project”, that’s to say we trained different categories of professionals, with different specialisations, according to concrete job requests in various territories with the constant support of the President Motaz Salah El Din Mohamed Othman….the local partners are fundamental in order to achieve real and satisfactory objectives”.

“As president of the economic development inside UTA Agency, together with the general secretary Eya Essif and with the whole Technical Committee promote the training through projects financed by other commissions, by foundations, by governments or by our commission directly…..” “…..There is much talk about providing opportunities to the poorest brackets, all the governments are involved in allocating funds focused on the building of schools for the learning, education, training in general but, in the light of the irregular immigration and of the high tax of illiteracy, probably something does not work at all. The various geo-political, social changements, we all know that every country had to face these changements, brought to a high increase of social and economical inequalities because of unpredictable factors. This fact highlights more the need to educate, to train the poorest segments of the populations in order to give them real opportunities”.

“Education and training are the only way to permit human beings to be able to make a choice…to be able to decide who to be, how to live…[education and training] they empower individuals to have a proper dignity… their proper “freedom”. ” Our organisation..with a few resources ..we gave opportunities to hundred people and that make us reflect about it…….” During the ceremony of certificates, the President Mrs Rodà received an award by the Arab delegation for her activities in the different states. The Arab delegation has been recognizing her commitment towards the values of the development cooperation. This commitment was not appreciated enough at a European level. The general secretary Eya Essif and the President Matta sent a speech via video, because they were in mission in another countries. They underlined the importance of the training as a tool for creating new opportunities. To sum up, various projects can be fulfill actually at an international level. Important projects for both the development and integration.
