REGGIO CALABRIA – The governor of Calabria Jole Santelli died during the night. He would have turned 52 in December and had been battling cancer for a long time. His condition would have worsened in the last few hours. A member of her staff finds her lifeless.
Santelli, an exponent of Forza Italia, was elected president of Calabria last February at the head of a center-right coalition.
