In Italy the danger seems to be waning but the new infections in the world have never been so high: WHO warns that a new phase has begun.
Coronavirus confirmed cases of contagion in Europe exceeded 2.5 million, according to AFP accounts. Russia, the United Kingdom, Spain and Italy together represent more than half of the contagions of the Old Continent, while the officially registered deaths are 192,158.
As regards the overall accounts of Johns Hopkins University, global infections are now at 8.685 million and deaths have exceeded 460 thousand, with the United States confirming itself as the first country in the world in terms of numbers of infected and victims.
