Coronavirus: contagions date back, more than half in Lombardy

(Pixabay) ROME – The new ones infected by Covid date back to Italy: they are 229 in the last 24 hours (they had been 193 yesterday). More than half (119) in Lombardy. The total is 242,363. There were 12 dead, compared to 15 yesterday. Overall, the victims have thus become 34,926. These are the data provided today by the Ministry of Health.

The number of Covid patients in ICU drops to 69, two less than yesterday. Almost half (30) are in Lombardy; followed by Lazio (13), Piedmont and Emilia Romagna (10). 871 (-18) hospitalized with symptoms, 12,519 people in home isolation, a decrease compared to yesterday.

The currently positive are 13,459, down from 13,595 yesterday. The healed are 193,978, 338 more than yesterday. The swabs in the last 24 hours were 52.552, about 2 thousand more than yesterday. The total rises to 5,806,668. These are the data provided today by the Ministry of Health.
