WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S Customs and Border Patrol has awarded four additional contracts to design prototypes for a wall along the southern border of the United States, another step toward fulfilling President Donald Trump’s campaign promise.

Last week, the agency awarded four contracts for concrete wall prototypes and the latest contracts will be for prototypes of walls made out of other materials.

The contracts were awarded to ELTA North America Inc, a subsidiary of an Israeli company based in Annapolis Junction, Maryland; Caddell Construction Co, of Montgomery, Alabama; KWR Construction, of Sierra Vista, Arizona; and W. G. Yates & Sons Construction Company, of Philadelphia, Mississippi.
