Covid: volunteers of Hayat Eli Association help Governor Abdullah Erin

by OZGE YILDIRIM – According to the statement made by the Governorship of Şanlıurfa, 20 volunteers of the Turkish and Syrian members of Hayat Eli Association, where volunteers who want to support unity and solidarity, have requested support from Governor Abdullah Erin in the scope of the fight against the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19).

Volunteers, who started production in the workshop allocated to them at the 75th Anniversary Apprenticeship Training Center upon the order of Governor Erin, produced more than 100 thousand surgical masks in the first place.

Masks delivered to the governor’s office started to be distributed free of charge to those in need in the city.

Volunteers who continue their works in the workshop even during the days when the curfew was imposed due to the epidemic started sewing holiday clothes for orphans and children in need of Ramadan.

All clothing needs of 500 orphans are planned to be met by volunteers.
