Coronavirus: decreasing infections, minimal death toll

ROME – The number of new ones infected by Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in Italy is decreasing: according to data from the Ministry of Health, there are 219, compared to 249 yesterday. In today’s bulletin, however, it is highlighted that Molise reports that a case of 18 July is confirmed negative (which would lead to 218 new infections). The total cases rise to 244,434, the deaths reach 35,045. The data were published by the Ministry of Health. The currently positive are now 12,440 (+72), the healed 196,949 (+143).

Victims at an all-time low since the beginning of the emergency. In the last 24 hours 3 coronavirus positive people have died. It hadn’t happened since last February. This is what emerges from the data published by the Ministry of Health: according to the latest bulletin, the total number of deaths would have been 35,045, compared to yesterday three more.

No coronavirus deaths were recorded in Lombardy, it did not happen from 22 February, when Giovanna Carminati, the first Lombard victim, died at Casalpusterlengo, in the Lodi area, at 77 years old.
