The entrepreneur disappeared at the age of 97. He founded the ‘Italian Environment Fund’ (FAI) back in 1975, of which he was honorary president. He helped save part of the Italian artistic and naturalistic heritage.

“It is with deep sorrow that the FAI – Fondo Ambiente Italiano communicates the death of Giulia Maria Crespi, its founder and Honorary President, an event that marks a crucial moment in the history of the Foundation and the mood of the Board of Directors, of infinite sadness Committee of Guarantors, of the operational structure and of the FAI Delegations who unanimously dedicate the most moved tribute to her. The clarity of her teaching, the furrow traced, the style and the enthusiasm infused in whatever she did indicate the way without uncertainties that FAI is called to follow for the good of the country, set in the mission that she helped define “, reads a note.
