Ferry on fire: 13 missing, 5 identified

(ph: ANSA) CORFU – In a new update, the Grimaldi Group specifies that the missing at the end of the Euroferry Olimpia evacuation operations are 13, and not 14. It has been confirmed that, of these, five passengers have been traced on board and are in course for them the recovery and evacuation operations.

Among the missing are Bulgarian and Greek citizens and a person of Turkish nationality but not Italians.

Passengers and crew members of the Grimaldi ferry aboard which a fire broke out last night were rescued on the Greek island of Corfu. The stake was extinguished. One of the people on board would have been taken by a slight illness.
